Reneé

Hi there! My name is Reneé. I am 28 years old, I live in Southern California, and I love to write. I have been writing since I was a kid, and my dream is to be a published author. Like with REAL publications; at present my only credits are some web writing and some stuff that got published in school literary journals and stuff. I am a Christian girl and I have Asperger's Syndrome (an autistic spectrum disorder).

My hobbies are reading, writing, singing, acting, playing video games, using the computer, and watching movies. My interests include history, mythology, literature, languages, film, anime/manga, music, and technology (mostly web design).

I have a B.A. in Literature and Writing Studies, Writing Emphasis, with a minor in French. I also have certificates in Microsoft Office User Proficient Level and Web Development and Design. I am a member of NHS, CSF, Sigma Tau Delta (an English honors society), and my alma mater's Alumni Association. 

My favorite genres to read are Christian fiction, historical fiction, and fantasy. I also like science fiction but have not read much of it. I don't watch much TV, but I do have certain favorite shows: "The Amazing Race,"  "Code Lyoko," "Doctor Who," "Mythbusters," and pretty much anything on HGTV. My favorite movies include the Star Wars movies, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, "The Hunger Games," "Just Like Heaven," "Elizabethtown," "The Parent Trap," "Raise the Red Lantern," "The Illusionist," "Tenchi Muyo in Love," "Super 8," and "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban."
