Lesa Boutin

Lesa is  a children's author who loves every aspect of a book's life, from concept to completion. Consequently, she started Boot in the Door Publications, in 2006. Then in 2007 and 2008, the first two novels in her Amanda Noble series, Zookeeper Extraordinaire and Speical Agent were released. Book 2 of the series, Amanda Noble, Special Agent, was nominated for the Texas Lone Star Reading List. In the spring of 2014, Lesa, writing under the pen name Lesa Howard, brought Boot in the Door Publications into the twenty-first-century with the release of her new novel Phantom's Dance in both print and ebook formats. As a writer for Writers in the Schools, Lesa enjoys sharing her imagination and passion for storytelling with her students.
