I never know where my ideas come from. I've read thousands of fantasy and mythological books and enjoy studying ancient civilizations - especially their myths, cultural beliefs, and superstitions. James Burk's Connections series inspires my backstories. You'll find a lot of the "Connections" history interplay mixed into the worlds I take you to.

All of the main characters in my books are friends of mine that I enjoy talking to in my head. I especially love it when they don't do what I want them too.
