My first goal in life was to work in law enforcement, until the night I called the police to check out a scary noise in my yard. Realizing that I might someday have to investigate scary noises in yards just as dark as mine if I continued on that path, I turned to my other favorite love...writing. Since then my days have been filled with being a mom and reluctant zookeeper, creating stories, and looking for trouble in my kitchen.

I also have a secret. Well, not much of a secret anymore. Having always loved fantasy and not-too-scary urban fantasy and paranormal stories, I've recently partnered up with three other authors.
