          Your name sounds vaguely Japanese, but you don't look Japanese so I guess I'm wrong about that. Maybe you're just Milwaukeean?
          
          Anyway, thanks for following me. I've written non-fiction and science fiction. Of my science fiction, THE VISITOR is now in the process of submissions to agents and publishers. It tells of a dynamic woman astronaut (just like you?) who finds something unexpected in low-Earth orbit. 
          
          MINDSLIP is more bizarre. Betelgeuse turns supernova and the resultant radiation affects the Earth. The main character, a male mid-thirties astrophysicist is turned into a young Japanese woman and his wife has an even more bizarre mindslip.
          
          The third book is complete and the third draft can be found at GREEN DOOR. It tells how a man walking his dog saves humanity.

@TonyHarmsworth it originates from a name in Japanese but it's used more as a nickname for me amongst others (Mainly my friends since they came up with the nickname. They randomly scrolled through Japanese names and then took parts of the original name and created my nickname as you see it.) my real name is Layla and my name originates from the Arabic language.
