I am a former sportswriter and professional fly-fishing guide turned author. I have published two non-fiction books, A "Real" Man's Guide to Divorce (First, you bend over and…) and Gone Fishin' With Kids (How to Take Your Kid Fishing and Still be Friends). I write the Matt Davis Mystery Series, which consists of four books: As the Twig is Bent, Opening Day, Twice Bitten, and Broken Promises, the last three of which are set in the little upstate New York town of Roscoe, where I was a guide. I also authored an evocative coming-of-age novel titled Escaping Innocence: A Story of Awakening, set in the tumultuous Sixties, and am currently at work on a stand-alone thriller called Getting Even!.
I am married with two children of my own and two step-children. I enjoy writing, fly fishing, fly tying, cooking (and eating), watching great films, and listening to music. I also LOVE hearing from my readers, and ALWAYS reply to all emails.
