I've been writing since my best friend changed schools when I was twelve and I needed another way to exercise my imagination.

In the years since, I've never stopped. I write plays, films, poetry, and prose. My work has appeared in literary magazines across North America, and I have read live at events almost from coast to coast.

My series BLOOD & MAGIC, featuring the young heroine Maggie Stuart, is taking off across the continent, and I now spent more time at comicons and writing events than I do anywhere else, which is about the best thing that's ever happened to me!
