My name is Brittany.
 I'm 26, Canadian, and damned proud of it.

I'm a sarcastic bitch. I'm also a pretty good friend. I'm stubborn, and completely contradictory. I'm only human, but I strive for excellence. I'm the first to admit that I am flawed - but I also do my best.

I love music. I love reading. I love writing.
I also love animals, but that's because they're too cute not to love.
I love my family, too - offending them is the quickest way to offend me.

The basics?
--I listen to just about everything, but my favorite band is Marianas Trench.
--I still love the Backstreet Boys - consider them my guilty pleasure. JUST them, though...no New Kids on the Block, thank you very much.
--I also love Three Days Grace (when Adam Gontier was there), Nickelback, Johnny Reid, Hedley, Taylor Swift, Queen, Bon Jovi, Katy Perry, Adam Lambert, Pink, Hinder, Daughtry, David Cook, Michael Jackson, Matchbox Twenty, Elvis Presley, et cetera - and no, that isn't in any specific order.
--My favorite song is Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, closely followed by I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing by Aerosmith and Two Out of Three Ain't Bad by Meatloaf.
--My favorite movie is Armageddon - 1998, Bruce Willis and a slew of other actors; obviously, it ties in with I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing. ;-)
--My favorite book ever is called True Evil - its by an author named Greg Iles.
--Greg Iles, by the way, is one of my favourite authors - he and George R.R. Martin take the cake for me, despite being totally different genres.
--Harry Potter is one of my favorite fantasy series, and probably will remain so until the day I die - I grew up on Harry Potter, and I was lucky to do so. A Song of Ice and Fire is, of coure, my other absolute favourite. GRRM is a brilliant writer and created a marvelous world.
