@Its_guglu Totally! But apart from that, you can't deny there was a huge section of people residing in an around Sri Harmandir Sahib that wanted a separate country altogether for Sikhs. Ofcourse Indira Gandhi was no saint, she made blunders in Punjab, but what was going on in the region wasn't good too.

@Its_guglu 4.) I never said you support Amritpal, all I am saying is that blaming the Indian state itself for being against Sikhs is wrong, for the bad actions done by an older govt. The party has changed, policies have changed, even the leaders aren't the same. 5.) Amritpal Singh could have got some thousands of votes for his "anti-drug" campaign, but to think that 2 lakh people could have voted him just for his anti-drug campaign while not considering his anti-India stance is illogical. It just points out that there are separatist elements in our society even today which need to be kicked and rooted out as soon as possible by the govt. before it rises up as a major movement again
