I live in a tiny town tucked in the valley at the center of the mountains of Northern California, in a mediumish house with my beloved husband and sometimes editor, along with our two precious kitten-mittens, Scribbles and Emily (yes, as in Dickinson).

My whole life has been a patchwork of stories. They filled my imagination throughout my childhood, and at some point, I began to write them down. My worst trait as a writer (and as a human being) is my tendency to leave things (in this case, stories) unfinished. I'm hoping beyond hope that joining the community here at Wattpad will help me to overcome that flaw. Will you help me? ;-D

Otherness about my writing: I have an affinity for fanfiction, though I try to make it accessible storywise to readers, whether they have the background of the story from which it was derived or not. I've also been told that, while I keep my fanfiction subjects in character, and assiduously avoid contradicting canon, I tend to expand on the fictional universe and take the characters in such broad-reaching directions, that in time I may be able to successfully lift these stories from the loom of fanfiction and weave them into original works. I'm still debating whether this is possible or advisable.

I also have written/do write original fiction, both historical and contemporary. I hope to share a variegated spectrum of the things I write here on Wattpad. I look forward to the constructive criticism and support of fellow writers here.

My muses: my husband, Mizstories/Isis McEllen, Melissa Bernhard, Jessica Baverstock of creativitysworkshop.com, tumblr's onewordtest, fanfiction.net's melethril, and many other dear friends and fellow writers.

Thank you, to any and all who may read this, for giving me an opportunity to share my writing, and for the willingness of fellow writers to support one another on this journey into the enchanted land of words and pages and finely woven stories.

Just to let you know, the first chapter of "EverFixed Mark" is uncharacteristically short. Those that follow will have a lot more meat to them. I'm just a little bit in love with that scene all on it...
