I'm a high school senior, though I take most of my classes through the Dual Enrollment program at my local university. I'm a huge mathematics nerd; I simply can't get enough of the numbers. But I'm a writer at heart, too, I guess. Literature and Math are not opposite ends of the spectrum. They're both ways of understanding life and other people and what it means to be a person. I like heavy metal and trance music, like Breathe Carolina and In Fear and Faith. My favorite books are Catcher in the Rye, the Mortal Instruments Series, and really any book by John Green. I like to define myself as a writer by the meanings of my novels instead of the genres I tend towards, but if I had to choose a place to rest my head, I would go to Paranormal Teen Fiction, with an emphasis on the characters and emotions and experiences.
