@winteresta Hi.
          	Sorry for the late reply.

          	Massively important to get your novels BETA read first by someone who isn't your friend/family. And make sure they don't charge you for it.

          	Then after making any changes, get it copy-edited to smooth out the plot.

          	Again make changes.

          	Then get it proofread.

          	And again make changes.

          	Sounds like a lot, but it's all vital.

          	Use Creatspace.com to create your paperback and the ebook, and make it available on Amazon. Createspace is actually quite easy, and saves you paying a 3rd party company to have the book created.

          	Hope that helped?

Hi - I am indeed.
          And happy to advise.

          First steps are to write.
          Redraft. And self edit as much as possible.

          To publish you need to get an external editor and proofreader and that can cost money. I spent $260 in total for that.

          Then you have the choice of ebook and/or paperback.

          Converting word doc to ebook can be tricky but I paid someone to do it for me and will be using them to set distribution on amazon, iBookstore, nook, kobo, etc.

          Using Createspace to create paperback is simple and some people prefer paper.

          Important bit is editing and proofing. Also get a good cover designed or made.

          Does that help?
