@SnDuana I’m completely fine with ads. I understand why they’re there. But the entire concept of Wattpad is that it’s free, and easy to use with a lot of content.

@SnDuana I completely understand that, but I also understand that before the ads between chapters were introduced, they were still getting paid. It logically makes no sense for Wattpad to start paying people who use the site before paying the people who made the site. Wattpad has been incredibly popular for many reasons, but the main one would definitely be that it’s completely free. That’s what Wattpad has been about for so many of us. If they introduce any sort of payment (for extra chapters, or specials), that completely takes away from the spirit that everyone can enjoy no matter their lifestyle.
