I was and continue to be an AIDS advocate and it's in my nature to always advocate for the sick, hungry, unloved, and other issues that will not interfere with my Christian conscience.  After all these years I have also started work on my autobiography and biography of my daughter, Eliana who died of AIDS in 1989.  Our story made international news which can be goggled using, either 'Rosa Martinez or Eliana Martinez.'  I don't know if I will try it out on Wattpad although I will let you know if I do.

I enjoy reading autobiographies about people who have gone the extra mile to help others in their struggles, those who have become advocates to help those who can't help themselves.  Those who have overcome adversities for themselves and/or others.  Heroes are a gift to us & I believe there is a hero in most of us, some more than others.  Others have written books about Eliana and I, but I have yet to tell it in my own words and from my perspective; I think it is time I do.

I  enjoy vampire stories because their love is eternal.  For me it's the same as regular love stories except that vampires don't cheat on each other once they have found their mates which makes their love special and did I mention forever?  I only read about heterosexual relationships, no teen, nor demon stories.  I enjoy when the MCs make love in the stories as long as it is tastefully done ; feels real.  :-)   I love history, therefore if the story starts in a different era I am definitely interested.  I appreciate when an author warns readers about explicit sex, violence, dark stories, etc, so that the readers can decide if they want to read it. Different strokes for different folks.  I don't read stories with unhappy endings, I've been through my own unhappy ending therefore I don't need to read them.  I just want to escape into my world of good endings.  I am truly a romantic,  despite my age :)
