Oh how my laughs have turned to lamentations.

Each leftover tear burns my face.

My smiles turn to gnashing of teeth.

Fueled by a dead, loveless heart every waking moment, I move.

A mechanical corpse of sadness and anguish, I live.

On my wrists, the shackles of chains from a past long broken.

Every thing has an end.

A sentence has a period.

Joy has sadness.

Love, death.

And my world ended with you.

A desolate place filled with physical darkness, the remains of a once-loving heart.

You crushed my soul like you would a pest under your feet.

I thought you were an angel. Oh, you definitely were. I saw you on earth. A fallen angel, exiled by the heavens.
