I just published a new story that I will be very active on posting very soon. I promise this time, for real. If you're a fan of my work and my poetry you will love this story. It's about hope, love, endurance, and how to go on when you feel like there's no way you could ever take another step. This story stands for everything I'm about, which is to bring disabilities and mental health awareness. 
          
          Read about Everly Wood, who is at a crossroads; she can go back to the life she knows or start living and embrace who she is, which is a girl with Autism.
          
          Read about Shiloh Wakefield, who has to make a decision; he can refuse to talk about the trauma he's experienced or discover and accept who he is, despite the gaps in his memory and jarring emotions.

@Emmalise I find this really refreshing! This made my day. I had no idea anyone was reading We're Just Friends and would have never guessed that someone actually wanted me to continue it. This really touches me and I'm so glad you liked it. As of right now, I don't plan on continuing it. Which makes me sad to say now that I know someone liked it enough to tell me on my other account. I wrote We're Just Friends for Nanowrimo three or four years ago. I guess I never finished it because I felt that I wasn't portraying Kassie's struggles well. The main plot of that book is that Kassie is raped by her step dad. That's obviously a very dark and heavy subject. It felt like a huge responsibility to write it correctly. I would never want to offend people who have been in simular situations. It began making me feel like I couldn't tell the story accurately. I would never want to write something that was inaccurately portrayed, if that makes sense. I want my writing to be helpful to people who are hurting, not to glorify bad behaviors and situations. That would be tragic for me.
