          	We always say: don't judge a book by its cover, yet books are one of those items that are most definitely judged by their cover. Not just the cover but also the logline, blurb, hook, and first chapter. That's why we thought the theme, don't judge a book by its cover, would be excellent for an award.
          	
          	Does the cover catch the reader's attention? Would they pick up the book to read the blurb/logline, and would the reader open it to read the first chapter? Once you have them hooked, they won't be able to stop reading.
