I primarily write satire, and like poking fun at tropes and real world problems, but in a way that leaves things open for interpretation, as my primary goal is merely to make people think. I admit, I have a bit of a dramatic streak when it comes my literature, so if I tend to underscore my argument with violence, that'd be why.

I've had some involvement with the criminal justice system and people with troubled pasts, and I'm fairly well versed in current events so I can unfortunately say that despite the immorality of some of my characters, the real world can be far worse. Which is part of the reason I include this content, because if you're aware that it happens and how it works, you're already better equipped to prevent it than you were before.
