I'm Eva.  I'm 18.  I write in my spare time, mostly philosophical/stream of conscious writing, but also poetry.  I also did NaNoWriMo 2009, and won!  (67,068 words, rough draft.  70K plus after rewrite).

I love being outdoors, and now that it's nice out here in Michigan, I'm outdoors more often, hanging out with friends, and enjoying the fact that I'm not cooped up by four feet of snow, or whathaveyou.

Also, I love my music.  I listen to a lot of trance, alternative, classic rock, hippie rock.  Currently, I can't stop listening to the Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, The XX, and Tiesto.  Yepp.  People call me a hippie all the time too.

I'm going to Michigan State in the fall.  Environmental Econ and Policy major.  With that oil rig explosion in the Gulf, you see why we need environmental lawyers and natural resource managers, yes?  Of course, that means I will be going for a master's too.  Woohoo college!

My biggest writing influences are probably Jacqueline Carey (Kushiel's Trilogy, Imri's Trilogy, etc), and Ralph Waldo Emerson.  I'm currently reading through a complete collection of Emerson right now; every word he wrote is like music to my soul <3  I aspire to capture even the vaguest impression of him within my own works.

I would really appreciate it if you could check out my stuff. I need constructive criticism on my work. My novel is a time travel romance and I have posted three chapters on my page. I have tried my best to be historically accurate but I need someone to point out the shortcomings. I am serious about writing and have high hopes for this book. It is half done and I haven’t come up with a title yet. Maybe you could recommend something lol.

Hey there I was hoping you could check out my story... Sorry if it sounds sort of random, you probably get these a lot. ^^;; 

It's called Motive. A story about 5 adolescents on the verge of adulthood but pushed into maturity through a series of events. They all circle around one beautiful corrupted boy who seems to have a twisted sick past that connects them all. A tangled net of Fears, desires, love, betrayal, blood, and motives.
