          For those of you who use Facebook, you are welcome to join the Scarlet Rose group. I have created that group a long time now, to chat with friends who have read the story and also to share news and images that inspire me during the writing of this story. I kept it fairly private but I extend the invitation to join the group, for those of you who are still following the Scarlet Rose and want to know more while waiting for the final chapter. 
          For those of you who don't use Facebook, I will create a topic here, to share with you material that is related to the Scarlet Rose.

Dear friends, 
          I want to respond to a comment I had today regarding the very long wait for the ending of the Scarlet Rose. I have apologised openly many times for not having given you the ending of the story. It will happen however. 
          But you need to know that it is not my intention to make you suffer by waiting.  I am forever grateful for all the love the Scarlet Rose received. My real profession however is not writing. My real life, my family, my job require my mental attention more than finishing the story, for the last two years in particular. When family health and job are taking all your energy and attention, it is impossible to be in the right mind to give you an ending that this story deserves. I am writing this story for a long time and if my mind isn't ready to give me a new chapter, I would never publish something, just to be quick. I feel awful already that it's been since autumn that I posted a new chapter. I am half way into writing the final chapter. So for those of you who can wait, I am as always truly thankful. For those of you who want to abandon the story, I understand. But unfortunately, this is how it is. 
          A big hug from me and I will be back again when I have the chapter everyone is waiting for. For the moment, I wish you health and good fortunes for you and your families.

Queridas amigas, ¡espero que estéis todos bien! Esperaba publicar este capítulo el día de San Valentín pero lo publico ahora, una semana después, pero aún dentro del mes del amor. La convivencia de Candy y Terry en esa isla escocesa de ensueño quizás fue accidentada al principio pero ¿podrían acercarse al final? 
          Espero que disfrutéis con la lectura de este capítulo. Es uno de los capítulos más antiguos de esta historia. Su versión original fue escrita en 2009. Muchas gracias a mis queridas amigas, Nuria y Anneth de siempre que siguen traduciendo con entusiasmo, dedicando su tiempo libre para que esta historia pueda ser leída en español. También quiero extender mi agradecimiento a todos los que seguís leyendo y comentando. Esta historia no podría existir sin los amigos que la leen.

          I hope you are all being well. Having celebrated Terry's birthday for one more year, it is now time to return to my writing. I do know that the wait has been terribly long. I am very sorry for that. I am still commited to complete the Scarlet Rose. Thank you all very very much for your continuous support! 
          Before I close my short message to you, I want to especially thank readers from Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and Vietnam who have read (partially or completely) or are reading currently the Scarlet Rose. It is an immense joy for me to also see that this crazy Candy Candy story of mine has reached such far away countries and especially Japan that is the birthplace of Candy Candy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

Querid@s amig@s, espero que estéis tod@s bien. Nos acercamos al cumpleaños de Terry. Así que Anneth White y Nuria Márquez Almuiña, mis queridas amigas responsables de las traducciones al español, me han dado un capítulo más para publicar a tiempo para el cumpleaños de Terry. Candy y Terry llegan a la remota isla de Barra. ¿Se acercarán el uno al otro o intentarán matarse? ¿Y qué pasará con Christian y sus problemas en Londres? 
          El capítulo 67 ya está listo para que lo leas. Espero que lo disfrutéis. Sólo puedo deciros que el capítulo 68 será un espectáculo de fuegos artificiales. De momento está traducido. 
          Gracias a todos por todos sus maravillosos comentarios o comentarios de frustración con Candy (sé que a veces es demasiado para manejarla, pero recuerden que no ha estado con Terry en 10 años y han pasado menos de dos meses desde que Terry regresó a su vida... No diré más). Gracias por seguir con la Rosa Escarlata. Es una historia intensa, diferente, que te llevará al "borde de la locura" como me hicieron saber (y me encantó ese comentario <3 ) pero si no siento agonía y mariposas cuando escribo, prefiero no escribir. 
          Así que, sin más dilación, doy por concluido mi post. Disfrutad del fin de semana.
