Hello, everybody! How y'all doin'? I know it's taking forever for new updates, but I don't know if other writers are going through this, but I literally can't upload my chapters. I went to the app store to find anything regarding this error, and found that they're fixing some bugs and making improvements on here. So, yeah, we're all gonna have to wait till Wattpad fixes itself.
But, I do have a fun question for anyone who wants to start a friendly debate, or just.. yk talk. SO!
I was on tiktok a minute ago and there was a split video of a stand-up comedy and random fruit clips. And on the fruit video side there were a few seconds showing long-shaped grapes. (There called moon grapes.) And I, for no reason, just commented that I've tried them before and that they're really good- AND THEY ARE! But recently I get a reply to my comment and this is how the comment thread went...
(The comment starter): So we just not going to talk about those grapes?
(Random user): it's called moon grapes
(Me): just had them yesterday, they're so good
*And there were other comments but they're not relevant*
(The user that replied to me/Asdf123): what do they taste like?
(Me): ✨like grapes✨ But fr tho, those grapes are really nice and sweet. Craving them now thb.
(Asdf123): then why do they have a different name if they taste the same? People are saying they're called Moongrapes, why not just call them grapes?
(Me): we have many types of names for grapes specify what they look like or where they came from. According to Google, there are about 10,000 varieties of grapes and they come in different sizes and color scales. To put it more simply, it's like apples. Gala, Fiji, lady Hamilton, granny smith, honey crisp, rocket, jazz, the list goes OOOON :)
And that's where the thread ends, at least for now. So here's my question.. If something like apples and grapes, or any kind of food exist, does it matter if they have different names or is it too much?
