it’s bittersweet to occasionally come back here and look through old things, especially my old books where i would just unabashedly write all of my thoughts with no filter… i can tell reading from years and years in the future how purely sweet and wholesome i was at the time, but also so tainted by the (mostly adult) influences around me to where i would be so prejudiced and talk about things i hardly knew about. i suppose that’s how it is when you’re young, but i really got a pit in my stomach reading some of those things lol. obviously as an adult now i’m much better at critical thinking and making my own opinions. i hope i never offended someone, especially with how i could be at times very homophobic/transphobic and would just say odd offensive things. i really was very young (at about 12-14ish) and didn’t know much about the world at the time. anyhow, all that to say i’ve matured much more and if anyone (although if i had to guess, the chances would be slim) that anyone is reading this and did ever get offended by something, i’m no longer that way. my intention on this app was always to have fun and build a kind, supportive community and i absolutely did have that experience, which is more than i could’ve asked for. if anyone is reading this, i sincerely hope you’re doing well and taking care of yourself. and also, since i happen to be writing it now, merry christmas! or happy holidays. :)
