Hello! We are A and K, and we are here to be honest about most of the One Direction fanfictions.



They suck.



Now we know there are many amazing fanfics, and we love to read and write them, but some of these are absolutely vile and horrible.



Things that bring fanfics down are-

-Bad grammar and spelling. (Believe us, 'i hv no idea why lium said dat' is something no one wants to read in a book.)

-Overused plots. (No one cares anymore if Louis is your ex-best friend, Harry saw you during a concert and couldn't take his eyes off you, Liam met you at Starbucks and you are bullied and abused by your father, Niall went head over heels for you at a signing or Zayn saved you from being harassed. Overused.)

-No original ideas. (We're really sick of you being stuck somewhere with the boys and absolutely hating them, or that you don't like Harry and he decides you're the one. STOP.)

-Cruel plots. (Why are you, someone who claims to be the biggest fan of the boys, write stories of them kidnapping OR raping you? None of these are sane or pleasant and the way your brain works really scares us.)

-Badly written works. (This is a writing site where people are posting their works so that they can be noticed and published. And some of you over here write books horribly, with no capitalisation, punctuations used too much or not at all and there is no flow in the story.)



All of this reflects upon the whole fandom. If your story is horrible, we aren't telling you to delete it directly -no matter what our username hints-, but to actually try to improve your writing and make your plot new and unique. 



Hopefully this helps all the amateurs out there and no one takes this as hate. Criticism is something that comes along when you post your work to be read and reviewed.
