[IMPORTANT AUTHOR NEWS]
The chapter I started to write for Kiss and Tell didn’t get saved in my notes app. I have to rewrite it all and I’m (surprisingly only mildly) annoyed.
The reason for this community note is more serious, kinda. The best romance book I’ve read in 2022 was a fanfic called Breath Mints Battle Scars by Onyx_and_elm. A few days ago she has decided to pull all her works from all her platforms because of people profiting (monetarily) from her writing.
Remember, the line between fanfic and plagiarism is the non-profit of it all. We, as authors producing fanfic for our community do it for free because 1) we love creating content to keep the fandom alive, 2) we want to share our art, 3) ITS FREE BECAUSE WE DO NOT WANT TO GET SUED by the authors.
Binding books is alright, ig, as long as it’s done for free, gifted without any charge taken and not done on sites that requires you to lay down any amount.
Also, crazy that I have to say this but minors, do not interact with my content. I am not family nor child friendly. And I do not want minors to interact with my content for maturity sake and at risk to get my works taken down by this platform /again/.
