Hey guys,

My name is Arron, but when I write poetry, I go by the pen name 'Dactyl'. I am a creative writer from Oxfordshire.  I studied a BA (hons) in English Literature and Creative Writing at Bath Spa University, and finished the course in 2018.  Studying creative writing was a marvelous experience, but it also highlighted that when writing it is great to include messages that make readers feel like they have gained something from reading your work.  I aim to make all of my art contain a theme that is very relevant to the society we live in today, and hope  my work can help readers make sense of the World we live in.

I have been an avid fan of the Western Literary Canon since 2013, and I enjoy reading classical literature.  Here are some of my favourite books:

- Homer's The Odyssey 
- Kurt Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions
- Mary Shelley's Frankenstein 
- Dante's Divine Comedy

I am using  Wattpad to promote any creative work that I have written since I finished my course, and hope you all enjoy what I have to offer.
