Claudine

Claudine is a stay-at-home-mom who grew up and still lives in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. As the youngest child of seven, she did everything she could to be heard above the crowd. Some say she is loud...others boisterous. Whatever you want to call her, she loves to laugh and gets to do plenty of it with her guitar-slinging husband and three children. She loves being a mom and considers her kids the greatest accomplishments in her life. Though she is so glad she waited until after Graduate school to have them.

A 13-year survivor of Catholic School, she pushed her education to the limit earning a B.S. in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Wayne State University. Always the science fanatic you can catch some of the latest in scientific discoveries on her blog. Claudine has always loved to read and write, although Graduate school sucked some of the fun out of it with technical papers. When she finished her Ph.D. she was off and "reading" again. She'll read anything fiction from paranormal to romantic comedies to urban fantasy. She loves poetry, non-fiction, memoirs, humorous and historical prose.

She was encouraged to write by her grade school teachers who compared some of her short stories to novels they had read. She's written many unpublished works (mostly poetry) though she probably couldn't find them now if you asked. Her writing spark was rekindled when joking with a friend about co-authoring a paranormal urban fantasy novel. A few years (and children) later she is getting ready to self-publish the first book in her Fantasy/Paranormal series in 2016. Thank you for stopping by!
