Chukkaque

Hello my name is Chuck - Chukkaq (chuck-uh-cue) - Charles Edwin and I am the author of A Kid and His Slime, Road to a Champion, and my debut novel Atticus (now available on Amazon).



I am married and have 3 wonderful kids.



I play a lot of video games in my free time such as Zelda, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, etc and I also stream on Twitch Sunday-Tuesday from 830pm-1030pm CST.  You can find me on Instagram under CharlesEdwinBooks. The rest of this will be about my book.



Why write a book?

I found myself in many conversations where I'd talk about really impactful stories that would touch me on an emotional level and I'd be asked "Wow that;s amazing what book is that?" "Well its 'x' game." "Oh nevermind." was how they often went.



I found this to be extremely disappointing because I believed people were missing out on some of the best stories out there, but they were being locked  behind needing the ability to play the game. I decided to take a lot of common themes from the stories I love (JRPGs) and created a unique story my own and thus A Kid and His Slime was born.



A Kid and His Slime was my project that brought me back to writing. While it is currently on hiatus I do plan to return it. Last year I release my debut novel ATTICUS.



My current side project is Road to a Champion, which will be released in chapters randomly when I have time / feel like it.



THEODIN.EXE is my next novel Im currently working on.
