Avery Eden

Half of my favorite music artists wear cowboy hats, I love big skies, the color purple, nighttime, art, baking and last but not least, reading and writing. Those of you who know me know my real name's not Avery Eden. What else is there to learn?

I'm going to be a published author one day. Surprised by the ambition? It's my dream and I'm getting closer everyday. One time I had a close friend tell me that I'm gonna be a hipster working in a coffee shop, whose "writing career still hasn't taken off yet."  She was joking but the more I think about it she's absolutely right. Besides my writing, I have little to nothing else figured out. But you know who does?


God is the best writer. He's the author of all authors, and gives every good writer something to struggle with so then they can write about it, or so I think. Aside from him, my other favorite works are Harry Potter, Anne Frank, To Kill a Mockingbird, East of Eden and The Book Thief.  I want to write someone's favorite book, and hopefully impact people the way all these books have impacted me. After all, I think the best gift a writer can ask for is that their story made someone smile. So if you like my stories, let me know and I'll be very grateful.
