I've been writing since I was 14 and frankly I think I would go nuts if I couldn't write. I write novels and fanfiction. The novels are business, the fanfic is pleasure. 

I don't like to be tied down to any one genre, though overall I do tend to veer more to horror, fantasy and more recently, historical fiction. 

There are some R rated stories but nothing too bad, if I recall correctly!

Thanks Cat it is improving but I have never known pain like it and I lost the use of my left arm. Re the cover the person who did weathering the storm is doing DOS she is a poster on C19 but wants to be anonymous lets just say her name begins with A. I'd like to see the sites you mentioned. I had no idea you were so prolific and now I have a kindle I will be looking at your books.

@Bittersweet_Rose I have two friends who self publish, they both put the stories online (one here, one on a blog) to get reaction as they're being written. Maybe you could try that.

@khandy Oh god, you poor thing. There is nothing more debilitating in life than pain. I've taken crazy amounts of painkillers in the past just to function at times, I cant stand pain!!! I hope you're on the mend. I look forward to degrees of silence. Who does your covers for you? I can recommend two great romance stock image sites if you want. Both also offer a design service but i just use the images. This is my next cover, the couple is from one of those sites but the rest is me http://twitpic.com/c1fsdo

Hi Cat, if it gets published it as an e book, it would be as a free one that is plainly labelled as FF.  I do have an idea for an original one though,  He is Amerz Reisinger and travels back to do an observation study only to be dragged into a murder mystery and a romance.  So far that's all I've got.

Well the prolapse disc in my neck has been a huge problem and so until this week I have been unable to write at all since Dec 2nd. I have managed to type for half an hour in the morning and afternoon and so have done another chapter of my north and south story, I am just waiting for a cover for my novel Degrees of Silence and then I will put it on Amazon and createspace. I am also working on a romance set around a dancing reality show which I hope to get back as soon as the neck allows. 

I am so pleased for you your support of my first novel was very appreciated

@KrismaeY You're very welcome and I'm glad you enjoyed them. I don't have any more Romy ideas at the moment, but Rogue and Gambit are reuniting in the comics in April which might spark some ideas!!

@Bittersweet_Rose I would advise anyone to try it. Nothing ventured nothing gained. If Broken is the Dr Who story though, be very wary of copyright. The internet and sometimes the copyright holders, will jump straight on you (see Lori Jareo's Star Wars book, Lady Sybilla's twilight sequel and Mary Battle's Darkover sequel for cautionary tales). The only reason 50 Shades worked was because it was already an AU story, so changing the names was all that was necessary. I'm not saying you cant have a time traveller, but not a time travelling alien who is the last of his kind, even with the names changed, that's too close. The last human, who discovers a way to time travel and set right what killed off the rest to of humanity, would be fine though. Good luck and let me know if you take the plunge.
