Christopher Timm

I am an author from Canada who has an interest in stories of adventure, discovery and romance. I love Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, Hunger Games and of course the Halo novels. I also like movies such as Star Wars, Kingdom of Heaven, Marvel movies and even Tangled!. While I don't spend a lot of time with video games I have enjoyed the world of Skyrim, the Halo franchise and more recently Fallout: New Vegas. Basically, any story, regardless of medium, that challenges me to look beyond myself, to strive for something bigger and to believe in the seemingly impossible interests me.

Why do I write?

In this world where there's so much pain, suffering, loneliness and misery there's a need for stories that cause us to hope and to believe despite everything around us that says give up. Its my desire to write these types of stories. So while the genre may be historic, fantasy, science fiction or otherwise my stories will always challenge us to seek after the heroic ideal that lies within and believe in something better. From this ideal I hope it causes us to move into the reality of the world around us, let our lights shine, and make it a better place.
