So...you'd like to know a little about me? Well why not? My name is Brittany, but people call me Britt. My profile might as well be called The Secret Life of BrittanyLeigh8 as no one except my brother knows I write and I like to keep it that way to. There is nothing scarier than having someone you know reading your works.

I love to read. But I'm sure you could have guessed that with me being on this site. Well... here are a few more things about me you might find interesting.

Hey guys. I know I owe you an explanation for not updating so that's what I'm going to give. Be warned though,it's a bit lengthy.  I know I can't reach everyone as not everyone that reads my stories follow me, so if you could help pass the word around I would be very grateful. 

First, this past weekend I had a camping trip planned, a family decoration, and a birthday party I had to attend. Then Sunday evening it came a flood where I live and did tons of property damage to my family's land. I even have pictures as proof. If anyone wants to see them let me know and I'll see about putting them on my Wattpad Facebook page sometime. So after that My toddler got sick and I was dealing with that and then took him to the doctor yesterday. 

This is just a glimpse of what I have to deal with in my everyday life. Well, obviously it's not this bad all the time, but something always seems to happen. I promise I'm not getting behind on my updates on purpose. I'll eventually get caught up, but until then please just be patient and understanding. I'll get there. Sometimes life intervenes and we can't do anything about but deal with it. 

Today, I have to get my house cleaned up from the chaos of this past week and weekend and then I will get started on updates.
