So, I just read and finished Wayward Son, and I have some SERIOUS FEELINGS about it, but nobody else I know has read it yet, and I’m DYING I NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE.

Anyone else feel like they’re finally hitting their writing stride after years of working and improving and now it’s suddenly so much harder to get any recognition on Wattpad? Other than the obvious, that Wattpad has a lot more users now, there are a lot less opportunities for up-and-coming writers. For example, the fact that you can’t apply to become a Featured Writer anymore kind of sucks. And also the fact that they took away the Watty’s long and shortlists. Let me know if anyone else feels this way, becaus it definitely feels like kind of a kick in the gut to be excited about your stories for once only to have virtually no way to get them noticed.
