Hello, dears. How are all of you today? I'm probably fine, thanks. Anywho, hi, I'm Bodie. No, that's not actually my name, but it'll do.

So, um, about me and stuff. Let's see. According to my lovely, wonderful mother, I have been wanting to be an author since I was five. However, I lack motivation. Jeez, do I lack motivation. Just take a look at my updating skills; that'll tell you all about my lack of motivation.

Besides that, my favorite color is red (partly because my favorite Disney princess has that hair color, partly because it's an awesome color). I am going to be a senior in high school this coming August - I'm freaking out because it's my last year of mandatory school, oh my gosh. I live on the west coast of the continental United States. I have a twin sister who, according to our mother, wanted to be an illustrator when she was five - now her goal is to be an animator. Close enough.

My favorite book is "The Knife of Never Letting Go" by Patrick Ness. This section gets its own paragraph because, seriously, read the book. Despite it being sci-fi, it's the realist book I know. It feels like you literally take a step inside of the main character's mind (who is the greatest hero of them all and no telling me different) and the leading lady isn't feisty, she isn't bitchy, or bossy; she is exactly how a girl would be in her situation, exactly how I want a girl to be portrayed in the media. There's also this really great side character who's only there for, like, a couple chapters and I love him to death. And the dog. Always love the dog.
