I have enjoyed the additional readership I have picked up here at Wattpad. A particular surprise has been "Children from Stone," a folklore like story, which I felt wasn't one of my best, but has some appeal, maybe because it can be read to children.
I'm happy with the response to "Ask Mother," but wish my readers would promote it to others. It's in a contest over at Booktrack. You have to read Hugh Howey's "Half Way Home" to follow "Mother" completely. On the other hand, most people can pick up the main plot of "Ask Mother" through reading context. I turn Half Way Home on its head, and I guess that bothers some folks.
