Beth Lyon Barnett

I especially love all things nature. I wish I'd been raised on a horse ranch in Montana but that didn't happen. All I've managed so far is a small farm in the Ozarks, but a beautiful place where we hunt and fish and raise a few animals.  
While I'm the family consultant about medical issues, I'm not a doctor, but an x-ray technologist who has watched hundreds of films being read and love to keep up on the latest discoveries. 
Scientific America and Smithsonian are my favorite magazines.
 Looie, our schnauzer, and I try to walk in the park every day. He also helps me cook by tasting everything and giving my his unbiased opinion.  
My favorite  charity is CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates--for abused and neglected children).  
Kansas City, Jazz's second home, is my home town and a great place to have grown up.
