My name is Ben Nunan, current writer for Shot in the Dark Comics, co-author of multiple erotic fiction books (under the name T.H.Rusty), short time blogger and aspiring writer of all things.

My name is Ben Nunan, I’m 27, originally from Dundee in Scotland. I write whenever I can, have been part of 3 different comic companies (who have all folded) and have decided that 4 years is a long wait, working for a publisher, to have my work out.
 
I truly do believe comic books are not just thought fodder, where we can escape to another world for a few pages. Rather, they are historic documents showing the movement of opinion and popularity (Not to mention Liefelds historical pouch collection). Comic books are a medium where even the most insane idea can find form, allowing us to see what might have been hidden in other publications.

The written word is a medium that we can all enjoy and take part in. Wars have begun because of it and love has blossomed because of words.
 
Comic books are art, they’ve invented words and terms we use in everyday life. I want to be part of that, to say ‘I was here’.
 
I also come from Scotland, the land of heroes. I want to make more, fictional or not. I know it’s not easy but I’ll be damned if I am giving up. I just need to write!
