Here's my advice to you... Don't let anything hold you back. The only thing stopping you from going for your goals or dreams is you. Aim high and hit higher. You got this. The past is the past, you can't change it. Live for the future, it's what matters. And even more important is to live for yourself. Don't live your life trying to please others. It's impossible. 
And if you struggle, it's okay to not be okay. It's okay to have to take it one day at a time. Or one hour at a time if need be. I've been there. Reach out to someone for help or you can message me.
