Oof. There it went. Now I'm dead. Peace out ☠

PETER CULLEN

DO YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT THEY DID TO PETER CULLEN!?

Arrowbolt5

@texasinstruments Yeah, I did see that the director was from Toy Story. He worked in quite a few good animations. It'll be interesting to see how they approach the postwar events. You and the others have really done a lot to boost my confidence in this movie. I'm excited to see how it turns out now.

@Arrowbolt5 personally, I’m okay with it because it’s still not taking away Peter Cullen role as an adult and I think it’s good for them to use big actors name to save the franchise. Also the movie is being written by the Pixar writers of Toy Story so you know it’s going to be sooooo good and a tear jerker.

@texasinstruments Cullen did Orion before but... errr? I guess I will be making my final judgment when I hear it.

Are you going to continue Going Green story line???

Arrowbolt5

@Arcanthos I had an idea today... I'm not sure how the idea will pan out in letters, but you've got a 40% chance of getting a sequel now.

Arrowbolt5

@Arcanthos No, I was not planning to, but if you have an idea, then perhaps more can be done.

Does anyone ever get the impression that we enjoy the fanfictions more than the fictions they come from? Or at the very least, we enjoy the imagined ideas that branch from them? When I think of Transformers, I'm imagining philosophy, internal conflict, and fate on a level that the actual series doesn't accurately represent. What does that say about the interpretative lens of our society and personal ideals as a whole?

Snowstar101

@Arrowbolt5 True. Some fanfics are better than the original. And, yeah, we're adding what we go through in the human world to Transformers. That's where 'spike' and 'valve' came from. In most fanfics, Transformers are portrayed as human-like, and that's slightly . . . more disturbing?

@Arrowbolt5 wow that was deep and you might be right. At least I know that I enjoy the fan fics about certain movies and shows than I enjoy the actual series. I think it’s because o the different fan fics change the actual fics and how what we want to happen in the original fiction is happening in the fan fiction.

Who wants to join a rebellion and revolt against the "Do you promote your books on Neobook?" people? I mean, WHERE ARE ALL OF THESE PEOPLE COMING FROM!?

          It is an invasion!

Arrowbolt5

@spiritspectress I have no idea. I was also too lazy to google it.

@spiritspectress like, I've got the messages but they ignored me when I questioned it and I don't wanna google it

HAHA! I have published 37 chapters of "Going Green," which were 99% written in less than a month!

          Goals, people! Goals!

Snowstar101

@Arrowbolt5 Wow. That's new! No main character deaths? Really? Also, that's really fast. I haven't updated my book in almost a month . . .
Reply

Arrowbolt5

And the best part is that I technically didn't even kill off any of the main characters!

Would it help to include Transformers vocabulary in chapters that are thick with it? Like, servos, chassis, denta, etc.? How many transformers fans actually know what all that is? If yes, how often should I include references and should it be at the beginning or end of a chapter?

Arrowbolt5

@texasinstruments Same. The only things I haven't learned on my own are the measurements of time.

From what I’ve seen in other books, authors usually put a list of the definitions as a sole chapter at the very beginning or in the prologue. Tbh I’ve used context clues to understand the vocabulary

@Arrowbolt5 Thats a good idea. I think I will incorporate that.

I can finally see why some authors publish their books chapter by chapter. Right now, I'm updating pieces of "Born to be a Hero" and "Drum Roll, Please," while also writing chapter for another book, which is untitled and unpublished. Publishing chapter by chapter is giving me a much higher sense of accomplishment. Must be why so many people do it.

Arrowbolt5

Very glad I didn't start doing that. Publishing whole means I don't have to feel guilty about not updating all of those forgotten ideas in my drafts.

Snowstar101

@Arrowbolt5 Same. It is easier than just publishing an entire book at once.

It also encourages it to go up on the charts.
