About

I'm from Webook!

I have an account shared with TheGreenBallerina, now xKialee, on here. The account name is Westys. :) We would love if you read our books! Especially The Unseen, a trilogy about a teenage girl who discovers that she has super powers...it's super cool! :) So go check it out: http://www.wattpad.com/user/Westys We also have a website for our trilogy!

Christ is my salvation. He helped pull me from a place I never want to go back to, at a certain point in my life he was there for me when nobody else was. I owe him so much, and I desire with all my heart to bring glory to God.

Right now I'm at an in-between stage in my life, working at a bakery and going to college, trying to figure out what the rest of my life is going to turn out like.

I've always been a planner and a dreamer, even though those sides of me contradict occasionally. I want to travel the world and see all there is to see, but I'd also love to find a nice place to call home where I could curl up and write my novels. I'm addicted to writing, and it's not good if I go too long without getting at least a few sentences written. My family and friends would tell you I'm a nerd, and it's very true. Some of my favorite things are Doctor Who, Sherlock, LoTR, Star Wars, and so on. I also kind of like school...if it wasn't for the whole "your future depends on this" thing. I'm an introvert, which doesn't mean I'm shy, it just means I'm happy with a couple of good friends instead of a group. I was recently diagnosed with NCS (Neurocardiogenic Syncope) which makes it difficult for me to do some things. I do manage to push through it and play soccer, which I love.
Anyway, there's me.
~Alex~

<>NOTE<>
The books on this account are old and first drafts, so they aren't a true taste of how my writing has improved. I realized that I write a lot better when I DON'T post the story online, so that's how I've approached my latest works. Sorry to all my friends on here who don't get to read my newer stuff!

A Teenagers Poetry

Four years ago today I joined Webook! And it's been three years since joining Wattpad. That's kind of crazy. It's amazing how much that decision impacted my life...so grateful for all the wonderful people I've met here! :)
Just watched "God's Not Dead" for the first time. Definitely interesting considering my similar situation last semester...It's definitely not far-fetched from how it can actually be. My professor last semester called me a naïve child because of my faith in God, and he continued to challenge me throughout the semester and make sarcastic jokes about my belief (He was the one to bring it up too, it's not like I was forcing my views on the class or anything).
Thankfully, it didn't affect my grade like it could have to the boy in the movie, but it was definitely quite an experience.
What amazed me most was that this was coming from an elderly professor to a 16 year old girl, and I could respect his opinion but this grown man couldn't respect mine. As exhausting as it was, I'm glad for the experience. It helped me grow as a person tremendously.
Anyway, just rambling on here, because I felt like it...

Julian!! I've been seeing all your comments and updates on Decemberland, and it made me miss reading it! So I decided to come back and see where I left off last time I restarted...and it looks like this chapter was the last one I voted for...?! Might as well start over again then, lol! By the looks of it, though...that may take me a long time. You have a lot written!! Great work! :)
