Alannah Carbonneau

My name is Alannah and mostly I am a lover of books. All things books from the scent of crisp inked pages, to the glow of my computer, to the screen of my ereader. I am a writer, but first I am a reader. I remember my very first book and the impact it had on me. IT WAS HUGE! I remember locking myself away for hours as I devoured novel after novel. Such sweet memories!:) 
There is never a moment in my mind where there is quiet. I am always thinking of a new story to tell, falling in love with new characters, aching to write. I believe that passion is the fuel that drives inspiration. Without passion, I cannot imagine where I would be today. 
For something personal…I'm sure you've gathered that I love to read and write…so I'll move on:) I absolutely adore romance…all things romance! I love summer - it would probably be my favourite season (partially because of ice-cream). In the winter, I love to ski. I have four cats, so I suppose I like them too:) and I have a dog - a husky shepard my fiancé and I adopted from a local rescue agency. She is an escape artist…and let me tell you…she loves to run! I have three sisters, all of them beautifully unique! I love movies…if it's romance. The thought of sitting through a scary movie is enough to have me quaking in my boots! I adore Christmas…the scent and the lights…mainly because it's just so cozy and ROMANTIC:) Music is my therapy - particularly new country. And I am completely and embarrassingly computer illiterate. No joke! Typing is about all I can do. If I didn't have my best friend living next door and my fiancé sitting next to me, I would be lost! 
My goal here on Wattpad is to introduce new and young readers to the written word…whether it be my stories or another's, the thought of the joy of reading being lost is almost a painful one.
