   Konnichi wa, idai na hitobito!  My name is Brittany, although I usually go by Akira. I have a few Japanese relatives, however they were married into the family so I received no heritage. However, I consider myself Japanese at heart, since I love Japan so much. 
 
    As for my writing, I'm leaving all of that up to you subarashii riidaa raitaa [amazing readers and writers]. I usually write fantasy, fan-fiction, fiction, a little bit of non-fiction and other genre among that area. 

    I'm not exactly high on grammar when it's stuff like 'About Me', comments, and statuses, but when it comes to actual writing; I will not read it, and I can not stand it. I don't know why, but I just can't read bad grammar.

    My hobbies are reading, writing [ <- of course, why else would I be here?] jump-rope, throwing a football around, walking, hanging out with friends, and the invention we all know as the computer. 

    My favorite colors [Nobody really has one single favorite color.] are red, purple, blue, green, yellow, silver, and  a little bit of a love-hate thing with the color orange. [I can't stand it, but I love it. No sense, right?]
 
    When it comes to anime, I really don't mind them and I'm a fan of all except for maybe 2 or 3 that will remain classified so I won't offend anybody. Regular TV shows I don't normally watch, so that's about it in the show area.

     Lastly, my personality. I'm totally going by my best friend's description of me with this. 'She's really quiet around a bunch of people, but when it gets to being around all of her people, she is probably the loudest person there! She's so goofy, too.'
