I enjoy expressing my thoughts, ideas and feelings through poetry. Whenever I want to convey a message, tell a story or just simply have fun, I write. When I started this project of mine, I didn't think that I still be writing to this very day. I was the type to not push through or finish ideas but this one really stuck to me and in turn, it gave me many ways to reflect on my life as a whole.

Although not all the stories are directly about me, each poem is anchored to a point in time that allows me to remember what happened in the past. I think of them as memory blocks that I can access that can also link to other memory blocks in different forms. In a way, my poetry serves as my personal secret journal that only I can truly decipher.

Do take the time to check out all of my poetry pieces as they vary in styles, themes, stories and perspectives. Some are short, some are long; some are jokes, some are made to be sung like songs! A few are connected by themes while a handful are connected by story; sequel/prequel to one another. Feel free to explore, you may find something you never thought you would like!

My poems are collected together by the year they were made! In 2008, the idea stuck to me to write a poem per week; so that in a full year I should end up having finished 60 poems! Now I have 350+ poems shared!

I welcome you to comment, critique or simply drop a message. It's always good to hear from different schools of thought and from different perspectives. I also make mistakes and I don't believe that my poems are perfect; there's always room for improvement so do let me know what you think would make things better!
