Andy

Andy Lex Bain is a young writer who lives at The Edge of Madness on the southern, forested island of Tasmania in its capital Hobart City. He enjoys writing, reading, gaming, cosplaying, bushwalking, star-gazing, oh and sleeping. He aspires to be a full-time published author or a video game story writer and basically spends his days slaving away at his computer ShadowLord.



My writing career began basically whilst watching classic fantasy movies such as The Never Ending Story and Labyrinth, and playing old roleplaying games like HeroQuest. This inspired me to create my own fictional world and write stories to take place within it.



Some of my favourite books include: The Broken Sword by Poul Anderson, Perdido Street Station by China Mieville, Elric of Melnibone by Michael Moorcock, Darker Than You Think by Jack Williamson, Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien and anything by C.L. Werner.
