Screenwriter/Director based in the UK. Currently in pre-production for a documentary about fanfiction.

My producer and I both grew up with fanfiction as teens and now in our 20s having gone to film school, we are now pursuing a project to explore fanfiction in a short documentary. 

We are aiming to clear up the misconceptions about fanfiction and hope that after watching the documentary, people will have learned more about the amazing space that has been created and sustained over the last 40 years.

We are based in England and looking to conduct interviews between the 18th and 24th of August 2021. So if you are in England and available for a few hours on one of those days, please get into contact. If you aren't in the area but would like to participate, I will also be meeting people virtually to have some discussions about our experiences growing up with fanfiction.
