im barely 40 something episodes in of the first season, and im resisting the urge to create scenarios in my head cuz it almost ten years old…
does anyone know the anime “march comes in like a lion”? the one about the pro shogi player but hes like a teenager with a very severe inferiority complex and just constantly seems like he needs a hug? and has like friends who are trying the hardest to get him to break out of his dark thoughts of his past and stuff? anyone?
ive been re-watching it and the urge to write fluff one-shot scenarios to give him the hugs he deserves, has resurfaced from the first time i watched it. but i dont actually know how to play shogi (or the seemingly similar chess/checkers/whatever) and i dont know if anyone even actually knows the show or would want to read anything fan-fiction about it.

not me writing out a whole ass story for a barbie movie from 2004 ☹️
gonna try and update BFOB some time this week but im having a hard time writing it out. ive got some stressors happening next week that’s kinda freaking me out.
i was trying to write today but i have a hard time staying focused, so i only wrote a couple hundred words. and i still have to edit it.
so i need to start writing as soon as i wake up. it needs at least two more hours of constant writing and then maybe an hour of editing.
cross my fingers it’s out by friday at the latest
My goal is to wrote at least 20 mins of the movie in each chapter for act one, and so far, im 10 mins in with 4.5k words.
Ive been working on it for maybe five or more hours today alone. My brain can only think about this story and this story only. I cant even read other books with thinking about mine randomly.
Its becoming a problem but maybe its what i need to actually finish the story through and not just quit two episodes in. Like last time. Ahem.
Im so excited to post the prologue tomorrow/today since its 2:30 am while i write this. But i worked hard on re-writing it, spending so much time writing and editing. Hopefully i dont spend all my energy on just the movie and i actually continue into the first season.
@HAshC17 the way I use to write is that I'd write down all the dialogue and add in Liz's when I'd want her to speak and I'd also write little jesters they did so I can just go from paper to a word document (this is where everything is written since I have to write it for a class also) then I transfer it to Wattpad. Bouncing off ideas is what I've also done these past few chapters. I'd have one, then I'd drop it, and the cycle goes on from there. Sometimes I think that the writing isn't good or doesn't make sense but people like it so I keep going.
@spookelle im not uninspired, i just have so many ideas that its hard to pick and choose what i want to include but takes up so much energy to write everything i want to include. Plus, i have to make sure it actually makes sense, so i watched the movie and wrote down additions in a notebook, so while im typing out the story, i can check off as i go. Forcing me to stay on track.
@HAshC17 I can understand about the focusing hard in on your own book. All I want to do is write mine and if I read another one I end up thinking about mine. It took me a while to write the movie since I was uninspired and lazy but taking a break helped me and I'm now half way done with S1
Finished writing the prologue for the new book. Over 2,000 words, ten pages if smallest text size.
Ive worked on it for two days straight. It was all free-writing.
Now i have to start on the movie chapters, so thank gosh that i actually have a script and i dont have to really think about it anymore. Ive had some bad headaches whole writing. Or maybe im dehydrated…? Maybe both.
ive got a new story out. time to put some more thought and plot into it! notebook and highlighter time!!!
just had an idea for a mbav story. cuz thats one of the big three fandoms im in rn. anyway, i make either fe/male older benny weir sibling half babysitting over her dorky brother and his nerdy friends (and jane) when they were kids, and itll be either for sarah or ethan. idk yet. idk about any powers for them either. its a concept.
has anyone heard of a Klaus Hargreaves book that has a male reader/oc but the added love interest is like a shy doctor/nurse/emergency doctor that rides in the ambulance? i read it years ago and i think about that book everyday since but i can’t find it. someone help me please!9
