ariana marie kent, aka rana zor-el, aka supergirl the second, is an alien born from krypton, the younger sister of kara zor-el (kara kent/kara danvers).

she lives in smallville with martha and jonathan kent, her aunt and uncle.

she doesn't use her powers much, she has only recently taken the role supergirl, since kara became superwoman.

rana is currently 12 years old and still hasn't learned to control her powers fully.

rana zor-el was five years older than kal-el was when krypton exploded, except her pod was also thrown of course.

rana is a new superhero, you might see her and think she's still the first supergirl, because she's wearing kara's hand-me-down costume.

❛i'm not like you kara! i'm not like kal or kon either! i'm... different, i'm not like you guys, and that's a bad thing, i'm not a natural born leader like you guys, i don't even have full control of my powers! i'm just me, plain old rana, i'm sorry i'm not the sister you deserve kara, or the cousin kal or kon deserve, i'm sorry❜
