hiiii, yes im alive.
          life has been hectic and crazy but im checking back in for the first time in a couple months. Sorry I have too many notifs to check back in on how everyone’s doing, but ily all and tysm for al the read on folklore and The Last Summer, i really appreciate it. Speaking of reads, im considering working on finishing evermore or the last summer for you guys if i have the time.
          Romantically my life has not changed too much, and I don’t mind. My friendships are all a lot closer and life is lifeing. Although, I did have a couple breakdowns at indoor percussion a while back, I’m doing better now. 
          And yeah I don’t really know what to say. I started watching Gilmore girls and as well as being obsessed with it I also have a hyperfixation on the show Lockwood and co, which is amazingggg and I literally adore it.

          WE JUST WON STATE CHAMPS IN MARCHING BAND
          PATRIOT OPEN (highest division) 2023 CHAMPIONS!!!! This is actually amazing but I’m so sad I only have one more year of marching band left. Also I rly hope our school leaves our current comp circuit for a circuit like USBands or Bands of America cuz this tri-quad state area thing isn’t super great like we crushed the competition.
          Anyways heyyyyyy ily all I hope ur doing good, lmk what’s going on w ur lives <3

          update bc 1989 tv came out!!!
          And her voice???? It’s stunning. Gorgeous. I’m shook.
          I would like to speak w jack antanoff tho, bc I swear he deadass thought some of those vault tracks were midnights songs. He didn’t fuck up say don’t go tho, so I appricate that.
          lowkey kinda sad Slut! isnt a slut anthem, it’s just being ok w getting put down by others while the boy thrives. Idk. Like I wanted a blank space moment, sue me.
          I loooove  now that we don’t talk even if it’s a little midnightsy, and I like is it over now.
          Her voice is sooooo good on all the tracks. I know places especially sounds so much better her voice has grown so much and it’s so clean and smooth. 
          Tbh I’m not much of a 1989 fan, so I don’t have a huge connection to this album, and she didn’t fuck up my favs, so i like it. I think it’s the closest re-record, but the vault tracks reflect more of jack antanoff s current production style vs what it was. Taylor slayed, Jack did not, my opinion. Some of the production is a lil unmixed. Eh. Not gonna throw a fit about it.
          On personal life rn I Got invited to a party that was all couples and I deadass just sat there between two couples kissing. I get made fun of sometimes bc of being single ??? For some reason???? but I’m trying not to let it get to me.

          More band comps got rained out buuut I’m just telling myself it’s ok.
          Currently on the verge of my period and have chronic canker sores again I hate this shittttt I can’t eat enough. Also worried abt that, might have to go off dairy again and any time I have to monitor how I eat it any way I usually restrict too much in other ways lol um.
          going in and out of my (?crush?) on my friend from youth group. Think I talked abt him before my hiatus, but he’s chill and kinda cute andREALLY fun to flirt w. Idk if I like him for the flirting or for real. But one of my friend posted a pic of the squad hanging out after church and they did a faux model thing and lemme just say. He looked like he was straight off a magazine cover???? like I was shook he looked so good (ew why did I say that)
          
          oh and I suck at flute I got ranked 8/10 as a jr (sophs we’re ranked above me) and so I’m considering learning euphonium bc it’s brass and I’d rather suck at multiple instruments than just one.
          
          I’m always so self centered on these updates so talk to me. I want to hear how everyone’s doingggg. Like did u get a gf/bf? Are you as horrifically single as I am? Did you read a good book recently? I’m sorry I’m not as present but ily all and more updates to come if I don’t fail my chem test.

          It’s time for another checkin.
          So. Not doing super super well, but at least everyone aroudn me is!
          my friend A started dating her close friend, and they’re really freaking cute. He’s really sweet to her. He noticed her eyeliner the other day and mentioned how pretty it looked??? Then when she walked away I overheard him saying “oh my god she’s so cute” UM. THATS FUCKING ADORABLE I CANT IM GONNA JUST THROW MYSELF OFF A CLIFF lmao. Theyre both horror movie obsessed, play trumpet, and love chipotle. So precious. yeah so that’s good and she’s really happy and im actually genuinely happy for her.
          on the other hand, my friend K is getting back together with her toxic ex. They were on bad terms for a while, and he was a grade A asshole for so long. He hurt her really bad, and he doesn’t seem to understand the consequences of his actions, we were all so relieved when they broke up, but now, she still likes him, he stopped dating his fuck buddy (and allegedly still likes her) and they might get back together. All bc her other ex decided to flaunt his new gf and make her feel like shit abt still liking her ex. And now her ex is on good terms w her bc he helped her with her ex, which I’m sure he loved doing, he was always jealous of her guy friends and her ex. 
          earlier when I said allegedly I meant it. I don’t think he likes her. I don’t see it in his eyes, I don’t see it in his actions, and I don’t see it in his words. Granted I probably don’t know enough bc I refuse to befriend dicks, but he just gives off slime energy, yk? We were at a band comp and he made a joke abt some girls from nother band waving to him, and he turned to her and joked abt how he “gets bitches”. Both me and my friend A whipped our heads aroudn and glared at him. She threatened to kick him in the balls and I threatened to break his nose. He, as usual, had the cocky response, “heh, ok, so do it”. Our friend K looked at us defensively and put her hand in front of him.
