Book 2 of the Son of Scotus series. Fletcher has returned to camp and is beginning to regain his friends trust. Settling back in again is hard though with so many ignoring him and most of the seven hating him. Soon he gets a crush, and then asks her out. When she says yes the gods have an uproar. They do not approve of Fletcher, and definetly not of the relationship. Zeus, Artemis, Ares (for some weird reason), Apollo and Hera - not forgetting the most annoying goddess of all, all disapprove of it. All of them with their own specific reasons. To prove his worth, Fletcher must carry out quests, deliveries, defeat opponents, do the gods dirty work and generally get tortured and used. If Fletcher somehow pulls through then he'll be deemed worthy of the girl. Read on to find out their reasons. What tasks must be completed? Why does Ares care? Who is this girl? Why are the gods so angry? What are their reasons? There's only one way to find out. This probably wont be as good as it's predecessor but important to the storyline. Enjoy!
