"He was made of money, and I knew anything but that. How was I supposed to trust him when people like him cared about nothing but themselves? If they did care, the poor wouldn’t be poor, right?" Meet Ashleigh Wills, your typical high school senior trying to get to college. Even though she and her parents don’t have much money, she is determined to get a higher education so that they can live better. Habitually, they all work their butts off to get money, which pay for their home and other well-needed living expenses. But it isn’t enough. So when some random rich guy, by the name of Christopher Livingston walks up to her job only to have her fired, she isn’t so sure of herself. Maybe things will turn out for the better. Perhaps this guy isn’t all that he’s made out to be – and that could really be a good thing. By chance, Ashleigh Wills and Christopher Livingston teach each other little things about life and how to really live – no matter how much money is in their bank account. Copyright © G.
