Faded Soul

So much time has passed for all that has happened in my past.my soul has been fading, fading for so long.

This faded soul of mine, It calls up from deep inside. I try to bring it out, but life won't let me go.

I try so hard to be myself, but only so many love the real me. From deep inside an icy fire burns. I long to put it out.

This faded soul of mine burns with cold desire to be seen. I try to bring it out, but life won't let me go.

I desire to be seen for me. I'm starting to be brave. I will let this faded soul shine. It will shine from within.

This faded soul of mine will be free again. I will it to come out. Life can't stop me now
